“It’s truly the right thing to do,” said National Association of REALTORS® President Ronald Phipps on the December 13 Dennis Miller radio show. Phipps was referring to NAR’s support of Operation Home Relief, a partnership between HouseLogic and nonprofit USA Cares, which provides military families financial counseling and aid to help keep them in their homes. “So far, USA Cares has helped over 26,000 people, giving direct grants — not loans — totaling $7 million,” added Phipps.

Launched in October, Operation Home Relief allows consumers to contribute through HouseLogic's Facebook Causes campaign. HouseLogic donates $1 for every person who “joins” the cause and matches donations dollar for dollar up to $131,000.

On Veterans Day, HouseLogic announced it would increase its match grant and continue to sponsor Operation Home Relief through the holidays. To date, HouseLogic has donated $35,494 to mirror the number of people who’ve joined the cause and $2,670 to match donations.
